Add a little magic to your home with this hand painted, folklore secretary from the 1800s. Features slanted flap with drawer interior behind and five drawers. What's most fun about this piece, besides it's whimsical details and colors, is the removable piece inside the secretary upon which former owners have written and branded messages to each other. When you come in to shop, ask to see it--we'll be happy to show off our accidental discovery!
This piece has been renovated and supplemented over it's 200+ years with a new backing (among other additions). It also has some later painting with some color loss. The history of the patina is priceless on this one. Offered as is.
